Standard

Standard provides whole-device overwrite sanitization and optional pre-erasure SMART assessment on eligible physical desktop Windows systems. It is intended for the use permitted by the Standard licence and does not include firmware sanitization, post-erasure health tests, report export, server use, or virtual-machine use.

Pro

Pro adds professional-use rights, supported device-firmware methods, firmware-plus-fallback workflows, post-erasure health assessment, and export of normal operation reports in TXT, PDF, CSV, and JSON formats.

Enterprise

Enterprise includes all Pro functionality and adds supported use on Windows Server and in virtual machines. It can also generate a certified data sanitization report containing expanded system, device, execution, evidence, compliance, and attestation information.

A certified report is an enhanced DriveErase evidence document. It is not, by itself, third-party certification of the operator, organization, device, or disposal process.

Audit

Audit includes all Enterprise functionality and adds:

  • Digitally signed sanitization reports; and
  • Report validation and management.

Digital signing enables report integrity and origin checks. The SaaS service provides a managed workflow for submitting, validating, organizing, and retrieving Audit report records.

Edition changes

When a licence is upgraded, restart or revalidate DriveErase before relying on newly available features. Existing job results do not automatically acquire capabilities that were unavailable when those jobs were created. For example, a previously generated unsigned report is not converted into a digitally signed Audit report merely because the licence is upgraded later.
