Verification Result
The Verification tab summarizes the current document as:
- Passed;
- Passed With Warnings;
- Failed.
Passed
Passed means every performed verification check satisfied its expected condition. Examples include successful structural validation, matching page count, or a selected structure being absent after sanitization.
A Passed result applies only to the checks generated by the actual sanitization policy.
Passed With Warnings
The verification model supports warning results and will summarize the document as Passed With Warnings if at least one check is a warning and none has failed.
Review every warning and any sanitization notices before sharing the document. A warning should be resolved or accepted under the applicable disclosure procedure.
Failed
Failed means at least one verification check did not meet its required condition. Do not treat the output as meeting the selected sanitization policy.
Review the failed row to identify whether the problem concerns structural integrity, page count, or residual selected content. Re-run sanitization only after confirming that the source, options, and output path are suitable.
Before and After values
Boolean checks typically show Present or Absent. Count-based checks show numeric values before and after sanitization. Hyperlink verification reports both link annotations and external navigation actions.
Copy and file-opening controls
The Verification tab can copy a short summary containing the overall verification state and SHA-256 fingerprints. It also provides controls to open the original PDF and the sanitized PDF with the Windows default application.
Use those controls for comparison, but do not confuse a successful visual opening with a passed sanitization verification.
